A friend brought me to The Lark for dinner on his recommendation. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was very accommodating. The cocktails are very creative and delicious. Try the Ram's Head Martini. The menu is diverse and of several cultural/varietal dishes. I had the eggplant with whole wheat bulgur along with broccoli and mashed potatoes in a creamy sauce.
Had a great time here after leaving another event. Very close to "home" hotel so worked out well. Very friendly and fun staff.
This spot is super cute with strong drinks! My friend and I just wanted an a small bite so ordered the hummus for $9 bucks, which was a reasonable amount. I got the Spring Bay drink ($13 bucks) which was nice and refreshing. Our server Corbin was very nice and welcoming! Will definitely return next year on our trip!
I see the good reviews referring to this place as a bar with no food. That makes sense because the drinks are strong, but the food is kind of weak. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer (was not expecting it to be warm), the beef/lamb meatballs (was not expecting them to be over cooked and dry), and the butternut squash gnocchi (was not expecting it to have the exact same flavor profile as the goat cheese dish - I think they use the same sauce). Disappointed.
Adequate friendly watering hole. Good service. Good beers. Had a few swift ones with some friends. Went down well. What's not to like !!
